Wellness bear

I am back. I can not paint yet so Mr. Bear will have to do that while I heal a little bit more. But the surgery is done, the drains came out about an hour ago ...so now it will be ice packs and physical therapy and I should be back to painting daily soon.
I got courage from the comments and well wishes I received. I read them in the hospital and again at home. It gave me great comfort.

What I have learned so far :
You can do things you don't think you can as long as other people give you a helping hand.

    1. Thank you Brenda. I am trying to rest and also stay active enough to not loose where I was before the surgery. It is a fine line but I will find my way.

    1. Yes, Theresa it took a full on double mastectomy for me to stop painting. But no cancer and no worries. But I would not stop painting for anything less. Because I Iove it and because I am stubborn.

  6. Jo, I have missed your wonderful paintings and wondered where you were so I visited your site from my list of sites I follow and found out you have had surgery. I hope all is much better now and please know that when your lovely watercolors are not around the art world is less colorful. Sending positive energy and prayers your way.

    1. Thank you Marcia . I had my surgery two weeks ago and I am healing well. My spirit feels bit "cracked'. I think if I can start painting it will return. Your kind words sure do help. I have been in the "head space" of "why bother " and " Who cares". This is not my usual thought pattern. Usually I am all about "Let's go". I like my inner coach not this voice I currently have of malaise.
