Below are the steps for how to build this painting. 

Step one..mass your darks

Step two..plug in mid-tones. Nothing can be darker in this step than what has already been established in step one. Be careful....make test dabs.

Step three ..lightest washes and final adjustments.

      Thank you Kaethe. I have slowed down and am taking more time on my three steps and I think that is helping. I keep seeing your work and am so impressed. You have the value thing down my friend.
