What I have learned so far?
For me, I have to leave the white of the paper intact. My prior effort shows what happens if I don't. I will remember this and move on.
i feel that the white of the paper is the holy grail of watercolor painting.

Thank you Mary. I forgot for two whole days to keep the white of my paper white. The result? Epic rip ups. How could I forget this core concept? I have no idea.
