Petal by Petal

Today I painted petal by petal instead of finding the underlying form. What do you think? Is this a better strategy or just different?

    I find this version VERY appealing because there is such a wide variety of edges from lost to soft to feathery to hard. I love the way the colors seem to effortlessly blend with one another. All good!
