Three step watercolor

This is the final step with final washes and adjustments made. 

Step two ..putting in the mid-tones. You can see my value dabs on the left. 

Nothing can be darker than step number one. 


Step one ..putting in the underlying Notan pattern of values.

    Very nice...in particular you are searching out more intricate shapes and assigning them a variety of colors. These read much better and I think you have arrived! Sometimes I think stressors in our lives pave the way, after grappling hold of them, for tremendous growth.

      Well then maybe it was worth it? Just kidding....But it does feel good to be both feeling better and painting better.
