This is my girl. This is what I have been working toward when I work on my peonies and my roses. I want to find those neutrals that bring the spots of color value together to create form. I am not there yet but I am getting closer all the time.

I would love to receive a box of roses. These brought lots of warmth on  a cold day in the studio.

These are the same roses in a colder version. I thought this might be interesting to compare the two. I think it shows how cold a color red can be.

I am working on the value forms within flowers with an emphasis on neutrals to make the color forms appear more saturated. I will then work on a pet friend to clear my mind. That is the plan for the day

I got heavily influenced by on line tutorials and my new interest in Frisket. I got too influenced! 

I forgot everything I knew and made a muddle of a mess and here it is for you to see before I rip it up 

Actually it is not that bad. But it is not "me". The value shapes are too muddled. Is it just me or do you see it too?
