This one is all about shapes and forms. It is a three step watercolor but done by adding the mid-tones last. I had to establish the patterns first.
I am always drawn to saturated color and pattern and this one has both.

I love the rich colors and patterns of the cat and foliage!

ReplyDeleteThis was one I had painted before at least five times with no success. I was determined to circle back to it when I had more experience and I could make those complicated shapes more cohesive.
