These two paintings couldn't more different. One is simple forms and the other a swirling caldron of color . My goal today is to somehow "marry " the two in a wave painting. I hope I can find those simple forms.
Hey Jo, IF you really want to jump into the deep end, take your paper off the easel and try wet into wet paintings. You'll get all sorts of interesting soft edges that are perfect for clouds. Colors mingle in interesting cloud-like ways as well. Hope you're having a great summer!
