The recipe ( that is a wink and a nod to the Waltons)

The recipe for making Baileys Irish cream is this
1  and 2/3 cups Irish whiskey
1 cup 1/2 and 1/2
1 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1tsp instant coffee. MIx in a blender for 30 seconds. I didn't do this I used a whisk and a bowl and that is it. It will last for two months in an air tight bottle in your fridge.

Yeah! New skill of the day.

    1. I just tried it and I have to say not exactly. I used heavy cream for the second batch...I think it worked better. Tom said he got no "buzz' from it at all.

    1. It is easy and much cheaper. It tastes almost the same but something his missing. I don't know what. But I will use this recipe because it saves so much money and I can use good ingredients.

    1. I made a second batch with heavy cream . I didn't drink any of this yet. I am experimenting. My husband says it is close but he doesn't feel the any effects from it. It sure smells strong to me but I mix it with milk so what do I know? I can just drink a tiny bit and feel sleepy and warm.
